"Develop a creative concept and campaign for the Aardbewonersfestival at ARTIS, centered around strengthening the connection between humans and nature. The campaign should communicate the idea of shared existence between all living beings in an accessible and engaging way. Based on research, define a clear theme, visual identity, and campaign direction that aligns with ARTIS’ mission while appealing to both children and parents. Research & Exploration


This phase focuses on understanding the mission of ARTIS and the Aardbewonersfestival, as well as how to translate themes like nature, sustainability, and coexistence into a visual language. Research was conducted into the target audience, exploring both parents’ values around education and sustainability, and children’s curiosity and sense of discovery. Visual references, moodboards, and style explorations helped define a direction that is both playful and educational. Early sketches and concept development supported the creation of a clear and engaging campaign foundation.
